Since 2004 Perma-Column East, LLC has been providing permanent foundation systems for post frame buildings, known to many as “pole barns” or “pole buildings”. We are a Licensed Producer / Distributor of Perma-Columns and Sturdi-Wall Anchor Brackets as well as several other products related to post frame structures. Our office and manufacturing plant is nestled in the quaint, quiet village of Lenhartsville, PA just minutes West of the Allentown area along I-78. We supply products to our customers throughout the Eastern Region of the US from the New England States to the Virginias.
Prior to establishing Perma-Column East, LLC, Ken and Bev Kistler (company principles) owned and operated successful businesses in the post frame industry for over 30 years....and as Ken puts it “once I learned about Perma-Column, it took me about 2 seconds to pick up the phone”. As it is said, ”The Rest Is History”!!
Every day we get calls from frustrated building owners who have found that their wood foundation has decayed much earlier than promised. Many builders are also frustrated by the frequent changes in wood treatments forced on them by the EPA and market studies have shown that they are building on concrete foundations more than ever.
